The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)
To ensure the optimal grind for each individual specialty, JURA's engineers have developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). Electronically controlled, the precision grinder adjusts itself individually to the predefined grind size in fractions of a second – much faster and more frequently than would be possible manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for extended specialties. But coffee lovers don't need to worry about this, as the adjustment is fully automatic with every preparation and can even be individually selected before each preparation, if desired, thanks to Aroma Selection.
Cold Brew – extremely fresh
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares genuine cold brew specialties. While many conventional cold coffee drinks usually consist of hot-brewed, cooled coffee, the Z10's extraction takes place with cold water, pulsating, under high pressure, and with a tendency towards coarser ground coffee. The result in the cup is a natural, energizing refreshing drink, in which the fruity aromas of the coffee come into their own perfectly, without being overshadowed by bitter substances. Anything else would just be cold coffee.
Generation 8 Brewing Unit
The brewing unit is the heart of every automatic coffee machine. For the Z10, JURA has designed the eighth generation of brewing units. With its unique 3D brewing technology, it ensures that the coffee powder is evenly permeated by water on multiple levels. This results in maximum aroma extraction; for hot specialties as well as for cold brew.
