The intelligent water filter - CLARIS Smart mini filter cartridge

Coffee consists of 98 percent water. The perfect quality of the water is therefore essential for a perfect coffee result. With CLARIS Smart mini, JURA revolutionizes water filtration. For the first time, a fully automatic machine* communicates permanently with the filter thanks to modern RFID technology (RFID = Radio-frequency Identification). It recognizes whether a filter is inserted and automatically activates the corresponding mode. It continuously collects information on filter usage and reports when the capacity is exhausted. This not only makes filter changes easier than ever, but CLARIS Smart mini can also unfold its effectiveness ideally.

Suitable for all tap water - CLARIS Smart mini filter cartridge

CLARIS Smart mini works according to the professional up-flow principle and always filters exactly the amount of water needed for preparation. Thanks to the groundbreaking formula, the filter cartridges are perfectly suited for any tap water worldwide. The adapted granulate filters limescale to an always optimal amount (even with low water hardness) and reduces all harmful substances more efficiently than ever before. Minerals and fluorides, which are important flavor carriers, are completely preserved. Thanks to the optimal limescale stabilization and efficient pollutant filtration, the result is always optimal water quality for a perfect coffee aroma.

Automatic filter type detection in the ENA 8

JURA has newly developed CLARIS Smart mini especially for use in single-cup fully automatic machines or for households in which fewer coffee specialties are enjoyed. RFID technology recognizes whether the new CLARIS Smart mini or the CLARIS Smart is being used and automatically adjusts the settings.

CLARIS Smart has been developed for the following fully automatic machines with the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®):

• ENA 8
• ENA 4
