The smart water filter - CLARIS Smart filter cartridge

Coffee consists of 98 percent water. Correspondingly elementary is its perfect quality for a perfect coffee result. With CLARIS Smart, JURA revolutionizes water filtration. For the first time, a fully automatic machine communicates permanently with the filter thanks to modern RFID technology (RFID = Radio-frequency Identification). It recognizes whether a filter is inserted and automatically activates the corresponding mode. It continuously collects information about filter usage and reports when capacity is exhausted. This not only makes changing the filter easier than ever, but the JURA CLARIS Smart filter cartridge can also fully develop its effectiveness.

Suitable for all tap water - CLARIS Smart filter cartridge

CLARIS Smart works according to the professional up-flow principle and always filters exactly the amount of water currently needed for preparation. Thanks to the groundbreaking formula, the filter cartridges are perfectly suited for all tap water worldwide. The adapted granulate filters limescale to an always optimal level (even with low water hardness) and reduces all pollutants more efficiently than ever before. Minerals and fluorides, which serve as important flavour carriers, are completely preserved. Through the respective optimal limescale stabilization and efficient pollutant filtration, the result is always optimal water quality for a perfect coffee aroma.

Automatic filter detection

To enable a dialogue between the filter and the fully automatic machine, JURA uses modern RFID technology. Each machine with the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®) automatically recognizes when a filter is inserted, switches itself to filter operation, and starts rinsing. When the filter performance approaches its end, the fully automatic machine indicates the upcoming filter change. If this is not done, the device activates the descaling mode. After appropriate use, the descaling prompt appears. And this can finally only be done with the filter removed. Mismanipulations resulting from misunderstandings are definitely a thing of the past. Treat yourself and your JURA fully automatic machine to the new CLARIS filters and convince yourself of the many advantages. We offer you the new 3-piece set at an attractive special price. We wish you perfect coffee enjoyment in a new dimension.
